The Wine

Sonnnino Prosecco

Grapes grown in the King Valley, North East Victoria, Taungurung Country. Conventional farming. Tank fermented.

The Sonnino range are fresh, easy drinking wines, proudly Australian but with a slight Italian accent.

The Prosecco, from Victoria’s King Valley has plenty of soft bubbles and a real lemon zesty taut, dry finish. So suited to sunshine and friends.

Alc 11.5%

Rights of Spring

Medium Bodied red wine Grenache

Great wines can have boring names, but here, it references a Washington DC post-hardcore band, which in turn was referring to a Stravinsky ballet that caused a full blown riot in Paris, which in turn was referring to ancient Pagan rituals in which a “Chosen One” was sacrificed to the Earth by dancing until their death… We're not bored regardless, this is McLaren Vale Grenache grown by guru Fiona Wood, planted in 1958 no less. Whole bunch ferment, fine tannin, jubey red fruits. Definitely dance-til-you-drop juice.

Tasting Notes: Bright red berries, wildflowers, savory red cherry, and fine powdery tannins with fresh, electric acidity.

Everlasting Sunshine Rose

Touriga Nacional, a portuguese variety, from the Petrucci vineyard in the heart of McLaren Vale, with a little splash of Syrah from the same block. Fermented wild in neutral french oak barrels, after three hours of gentle pressing. Delicious seductive aromas of blood orange, crunchy pineapple and a wisp of papaya, into a palate of pure fresh summer watermelon. Disappears.

Alc 11.5%
