🌱 Kalanchoe Care

• Light: Bright, direct sunlight to bright indirect light. Needs plenty of light to bloom well and keep its compact shape.

• Water: Water thoroughly when the soil completely dries out, then let it drain fully. Highly drought-tolerant; avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.

• Humidity: Tolerates low to average room humidity well. High humidity isn't required and can increase the risk of fungal issues.

• Temperature: Thrives in 15–27°C. Protect from frost and keep away from cold drafts or temperatures below 10°C.

• Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser once a month during spring and summer while the plant is actively growing.

• Extra tip: Deadhead spent flowers regularly by snipping off the stems; once the full bloom cycle finishes, give it a short rest period with reduced watering to encourage future flowering.

🌱 Phalaenopsis Orchid Care

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Medium to bright natural light encourages blooming, but direct sunlight will scorch the leaves.

• Water: Water when the roots inside the pot turn silvery-grey and the potting medium feels dry. Avoid letting the roots sit in standing water.

• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%). Good air circulation around the plant is essential to prevent rot.

• Temperature: Thrives in 18–29°C during the day, with a slight drop at night to encourage flowering. Protect from cold drafts below 15°C.

• Fertiliser: Feed with a diluted orchid fertiliser every 2–3 weeks while actively growing, reducing to once a month in winter.

• Extra tip: Once flowers fade, trim the spike just above a healthy node to encourage reblooming, or cut it at the base if it browns.

Water: Water when the top 3–5cm of soil is dry. Keep slightly moist but never soggy.

Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Benefits from a humidifier or pebble tray.

Temperature: Thrives in 18–30°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below ~12°C.

Fertiliser: Feed with a diluted liquid fertiliser every 3–4 weeks during spring & summer.

Extra tip: Give it something to climb (like a moss pole) — this encourages larger leaves with more dramatic splits.
